Agency, own employee, tool or Kodo?
Four ways to find new customers, and what really sets them apart. We state our price. The other columns describe what is common in the market.
| Criterion | Lead generation agency | Own employee | Database tool | Kodo full service |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who does the research? | The agency, usually with a phone or LinkedIn team | Your salesperson or an inside sales team | You, with filters and industry codes | Kodo: software plus human checks |
| Where do the companies come from? | Bought address lists and cold calling | Search engine, trade fair catalogues, experience | A company database with industry code and headcount | Company websites, registers, job ads, exhibitor lists, every source with a date |
| Evidence per line | Rarely. The appointment is the evidence | In the salesperson's head | None. Data without a date | Source and quote for every statement, checked word for word |
| Price | On request, usually with a minimum term | Salary, employer contributions, onboarding | Licence per user, often with an annual contract | from €1,790 a month, net, stated in the quote |
| Time to the first list | Weeks to months of onboarding | Months of training | Immediately, but unfiltered | Trial list within 24 hours, Monday list from week two |
| Who has the conversation? | The agency, in your name | Your salesperson | Your salesperson | Your salesperson, opening with the source |
| What stays with you? | Appointment notes | Knowledge that leaves with the person | Exports | Every list, every source, and the Kodo account on request |
How the companionship works.

- Week 2First Monday listEvery salesperson gets their postcode area: companies with occasion, contact and source, the strongest occasion first. Feedback per card: hit or miss.
- Every weekMonday 06:00The list arrives by email or straight in the CRM. What your salespeople report back sharpens the next list.
- Every monthCallWhich occasions led to appointments, which areas to add, which sources we should read in addition.

What people ask first.
Is Kodo a lead generation agency?
No, but we solve the same problem. An agency provides people, Kodo provides software plus human checks. The result is a list per salesperson with a source for every line, at a price stated in the quote.
Do you call or write to our customers for us?
No. We research and qualify, your sales team has the conversation. The relationship stays with you, and your salespeople open every call with a source instead of a pitch.
How many companies come per week?
As many as the area and your target picture yield, the strongest occasion first. We do not pad a list with companies without an occasion. A short list with evidence is worth more than a long one without.
Do the companies go into our CRM?
Yes, straight in if you like: to Salesforce, as CSV for HubSpot, Pipedrive and others, or as an email to every salesperson.
What happens to our existing customers?
You send us your customer list or a CRM export once. These companies never appear on a list. New customers are reported by your salespeople with feedback on the card.
Which industries does the full service cover?
Machine and plant building, CNC and contract manufacturing, tool and mould making, automotive suppliers, plus the providers who sell to these industries. Other industrial sectors we clarify in the call.
Is there a minimum term?
That is stated in the quote, depending on team size and areas. Before that you can use the trial list: 10 companies from one area, free, no subscription.
Test us on one area. The first 10 companies are free.
Before you request a quote: tell us a postcode area and your target companies. Within 24 hours you have 10 companies, each with occasion, contact and source.
