What is Technographic Data?
Technographic data (technographics) describes the characteristics of the 'technology stack' (software & hardware) that a company has in use. In the software sector, this means knowing if someone uses Salesforce. In mechanical engineering, it means knowing which milling machines, robot cells, or SAP versions a company uses.
Firmographics vs. Technographics
Firmographic data (revenue, number of employees, location) only tells you IF someone could afford your product. Technographic data tells you IF they actually NEED it. A company can have 500 employees and be based in Munich—if it doesn't have the technological infrastructure (e.g., cleanrooms or CNC spindles) required for your product, it's not a lead.
How Kodo Leads helps with Technographic Data
Kodo Leads is Europe's most powerful engine for industrial technographics. While standard tools only use cloud software trackers, Kodo crawls certificates, PDF component catalogs, and machine fleets to make industrial technographics visible and filterable for your sales team.
